Swarbrick on Sunday was live from the Labour Party conference in Brighton. You can watch it in full here.

The government announced plans to grant 10,000 temporary visas to foreign HGV drivers to plug the holes in UK supply chains, amid a run on petrol pumps this week.

Shadow Foreign Secretary Lisa Nandy told Tom that a lack of proper planning from government has led to this issue, and the UK will continue to lurch from one crisis to another. Ms Nandy also refused to defend Angela Rayner's "scum" rant against the Tories.

Former Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell defended Angela Rayner's "scum" comments against the Conservatives, insisting that she has tapped into public anger against government.

Tory MP Andrew Bridgen insisted that allowing EU migrants in to address the lorry crisis was a "sticking plaster" and retired HGV drivers should be recruited to plug gaps in British supply chains.

Swarbrick on Sunday is live every Sunday from 10am and you can watch live on Global Player.
